The 2012 Tribeca film festival, which runs from the 18th of April to the 29th, has again brought together both renowned and upcoming artists in various fields of the film industry.
Founded by Jane Rosenthal , Craig Hatkoff and Roberto De Niro in 2002, the festival aims to restore the vitality of lower Manhattan after the 9/11 WTO attack. The trio succeeded with their mission as Tribeca manages to generate $600 million dollars annually for their foundation, Tribeca Film Institute, that gives film makers financial assistance and career development programs . For this year’s event, the stars came out to show their support to the film industry and here are some red carpet snippets:
